Bodegas Monte la Reina
Bodegas Monte la Reina is a young, modern and dynamic winery, formed by a multidisciplinary team willing to give the best of themselves to offer the best product. They believe in innovation and are committed to achieving improvements in all their projects that have been satisfying their customers around the world for over 30 years.
The winery is half buried on a hill to combine the aesthetic purposes with the technicians and thus achieve a good temperature control for the different processes.
At Monte la Reina they only pick a selected number of grapes at optimal ripeness and care for them in their fullness. In this way they enhance the aromas of the wine and its color, and emphasize the delicacy of the taste. The process from the field to the final customer is therefore thoroughly supervised.
Thanks to the environmental conditions and clay soils (mixed with an occasional sandy subsoil for some areas and stony and dry for others), together with an adequate management of the vegetation and production, grapes are produced with high concentration, high maturity, optimal alcohol content and brimming with ripe aromas.
The quality of the grapes and their careful selection allow Monte la Reina to use a large number of combinations thereof to produce excellent wines of the Tinta de Toro and Verdejo varieties.
