Buying En Primeurs
The Primeurs campaign in Bordeaux, also called En-Primeur, is a way to buy the most sought after wines and vintages while they are still in barrels. This gives customers the opportunity to invest in a certain exclusive wine before it is bottled and offered to the market. This allows customers to guarantee the purchase of a specific wine at a discount on the “future” price.
Payment (ex-VAT and delivery costs) and ordering takes place approximately 18 to 24 months before the wine is bottled and delivered.
