Azienda Agricola Poggio Nibbiale
In 1998 Massimo Albanese moved with his family to southern Tuscany to realize his life-long dream: Produce wine in THE Italian region with the most breathtaking views and landscapes. The domain spreads out over a beautiful 11 hectares. The wines are all produced organically and matured in a fabulously restored cellar from the 13th century.
Bordering the village of Scansano, Poggio Nibbiale is surrounded by vegetation and nature, with wild olive and oak trees. The vineyards have views of the ocean, the islands of Elba, Monte Cristo and Giglio. A fantastic picture, as if it comes from a movie!
From the beginning, Massimo wanted to produce as organically as possible in order to give his wines the right aromatic complexity and finesse. He is a great proponent of traditional Tuscan production methods and techniques, which in combination with his ecological knowledge ensure very authentic and characteristic wines with great elegance and fantastic finesse. The philosophy of Poggio Nibbiale is simple: focus on quality and not on quantity, invest in the future and not in today’s trends, and most importantly, have passion and dedication for your work, but above all, take care of your environment.
