Gailur Crianza
• Grape Variety: Tempranillo, Grenache, Graciano
• Taste Profile: Smooth & Fruity
• Food Pairing: Red Meats or Tapas
• Occasion: Dinner or BBQ
Crianza wines from Spain are well known because they have to be matured for at least 12 months in oak barrels and another 12 months in the bottle in the Bodegas before they are sold.
Crianza wines from Rioja are among the better known Crianza's from Spain because the region produces very tasteful and typical Spanish red wines.
This Crianza by Bodegas Gailur is very pleasant and smooth. Filled with ripe red forrest fruits such as blackberry and cherry, and topped off with subtle hints of pepper, this wine is impressively complex. All of this beautifully finished by an oaky support.
A great Crianza for the price. Pairs perfectly with red meats and tapas.

Bodegas Gailur
Bodegas Gailur has been owned by the Errasti family for more than 40 years now. The new generation are the brothers Vicente, Jose Mari and Patxi. The Bodegas is located in the Rioja Alavesa, a quality area that has as its capital and is defined by the river Ebro.
The Rioja is one of the better known wine regions in Spain where very typical and tasteful red wines are produced, with real Spanish character!
Bodegas Gailur has modernized its techniques and formulas that are used in Rioja for the production of their wines. They are big preservers of nature and their environment, and therefore use as many natural processes as possible. The brothers are also constantly looking for improvements without losing sight of the real characteristics of the Rioja wines. This results in wines of high quality with lots of flavor, fruit and nice tannins, exactly as you would expect from a glass of Rioja wine.
