Chateau de Garros
• Grape Variety: Merlot, Cabernet-Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon
• Taste Profile: Smooth & Fruity
• Food Pairing: Poultry or Tapas
• Occasion: BBQ or Netflix & Chill
A delicious red Bordeaux Superior wine with a lot of potential. The young domain of Chateau de Garros is owned by Jean Baptiste Borie and his wife, belonging to the Rivière family from the Saint-Émilion.
They have been producing wine here for only a few years, seeing their first harvest in 2014. But it became a success rather quickly thanks to good reviews from Wine Enthusiast, among others.
The young wine is robust and full of flavor. Packed with ripe red fruit and pleasant tannins, the wine comes to a nice balance and is even a bit refreshing.
Very pleasant Bordeaux Superior suitable for many occasions. Will develop further with the coming years. Pairs perfectly with a nice piece of white meat or meat-based tapas.

Maison Rivière
Maison RIVIERE is an independent family business from Saint-Émilion, France that has existed since 1875. They are not just wine producers, but also wine merchants who now own more than 90 hectares of land in the heart of the very famous Bordeaux. The hectares of land are divided over several of the well-known sub-regions of these well-known vineyards.
In addition to producing their many references, since 1875 they have also been one of the great specialists of the Grands Crus Classés of Bordeaux. They offer a full range of the best wines from Bordeaux’s most prestigious appellations: from entry-level wines to Grands Crus Classés, to Crus-Bourgeois’. All available in many selected vintages or purchased as wine futures.
They simply know which properties a wine of quality must possess and are strongly behind manual production methods. It is through the grapes and the vines that they express their know-how. Always looking for quality, their greatest distinction is mainly the satisfaction of their customers and the pleasure of their profession.
